About iConnect

Bethany Baptist Church's iConnect Preteen Ministry is for students in grades 5-7. We strive to make disciples of Jesus by meeting our preteen students where they're at - with curriculum, events, and activities that are designed especially for this special and rapidly changing time in their lives.

We meet on Sunday mornings before the worship service (9:45-11am) for a time of teaching. This is for grades 6-7. The grade 5s meet in the All Star Kids wing for their own class.

We also meet on Friday nights (7-9pm) for events. We alternate between Alive nights (games, worship, small group discussion) and event nights (games, outings, etc.) each week.

Grade 7 students are able to participate in many youth events as well, including Bible study on Monday nights from 7-9pm.

New iConnect Blog!

Welcome to the new blog for iConnect!

For the past year or so, we've had a blog for our youth ministry (grades 8-12). I've enjoyed updating it with recaps from our events (parents, I'm sure you've asked your kid how their day was just to hear "fine" and nothing more... these recaps are for you!) along with some other info, resources, etc.

Now that iConnect has been up and running since September, the feedback I've received is that it's high time to start a blog especially for this ministry too! Be sure to check back weekly as myself or other iConnect leaders will be posting information here regularly. Some of the things you'll be able to find on this blog are:
  • Recaps of past Friday evnets
  • Information about Sunday lessons so you can discuss the topics with your kids
  • Information about small group curriculum so you can discuss it with your kids
  • Resources for students and parents (articles, videos, cool websites, etc.)
  • Information about upcoming events on our calendar (you can also see the basic Friday calendar on the sidebar)
  • Our thoughts on preteen ministry in general or iConnect in particular
Be sure to favourite this link! Thanks for reading!
